Paris, February 29th 2016. Cyber Group Studios has appointed UK agents Those Licensing People to handle the UK and Eire licensing rights for “ZOU”, the rising star of the show that carries his name! Zou is a zippy little Zebra whose valuable experiences within the context of a safe family environment expose him to valuable life lessons. Broadcast in the UK on Disney Junior, “ZOU” is one of the premier broadcasters’ top shows.
The contract brings “ZOU” into a stable of property which includes the current production slate of 1461 Ltd executive producers of ‘Boy and the Dinosaur’, ‘Rollie and Friends’ and ‘Boys vs Girl’. Those Licensing People have a full licensing remit across all sectors of industry save for DVD, VOD, and SVOD. They are now looking to partner “ZOU” with appropriate UK publishers and toy companies in the first instance as a basis for expanding the property across a wide portfolio of licensing opportunity.
Following the first two successful seasons of its hit animated preschool series “ZOU” (sold in more than 150 countries around the world in over 30 languages), Cyber Group Studios is pleased to announce the third season of “ZOU” which will bring the series to a total of 156 episodes of 11’.
The Cyber Group Studios’ hit property, which was nominated at the international Emmy Kids Awards in 2014, airs with a great success on Sprout and NBC Kids in the US, while teaching young viewers valuable lessons about family and growing up, with the help of the delightful five-years-old zebra called “ZOU”.
“ZOU” 3 which is expected to air in many territories as the first two seasons has been produced for and prebought by Disney EMEA. It is scheduled to premiere on Disney Junior France by the end of 2016 and in the UK early 2017.
