Cyber Group Studios is deploying its CSR policy focused on it’s carbon footprint, cybersecurity, and its social responsibility.
Cyber Group Studios, an independent producer and distributor of audiovisual and digital content for children, is taking significant steps in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Through three major axes, the company demonstrates its commitment to actively contribute to the preservation of the environment, optimization of cybersecurity, and its respect for social equality and diversity.
1. Carbon footprint reduction: In its commitment to preservation of the environment, Cyber Group Studios has calculated and published its carbon footprint of 183t CO2e, approximately 2.58t CO2e/person for the year 2022 on the ADEME (Agency for the Environment and Energy Management) website and commits in doing so regularly. The company strives to reduce its carbon footprint by implementing several concrete action plans. These initiatives may include raising employees' awareness of the environmental impact of their daily actions, particularly regarding food consumption and waste. Optimizing digital data transfer and reducing business travel by favoring virtual meetings, encouraging the use of low-impact transportation for necessary travel like train, cycling, or carpooling when possible. As a member of Ecoprod, the company continuously strives to adopt more sustainable practices in its productions.
2. Enhanced cybersecurity: The security of its partners and their data is a top priority for Cyber Group Studios. That is why we are proud to announce, with our Chief Information Officer Benoit Ourssaire and his team, have obtained the TPN Gold Shield label. The Trusted Partner Network is an industry-wide content security initiative owned by the Motion Picture Association which certifies a secure environment compliant with the strictest cybersecurity standards in the industry.
3. Social engagement: The company is proud to have achieved a score of 98/100 for its 2024 Gender Equality Professional Index. This result demonstrates the company’s commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities, as promised when signing the Diversity Charter in September 2023. Currently, the company has filed for two additional labels issued by the AFNOR (French Standardization Association) to obtain: the "Gender Equality Professional Label" and the "Diversity Label." This initiative, carried out with Gaëlle Cotton, our Diversity and Equality referent, reflects Cyber Group Studios' commitment to promote an inclusive and equitable working environment for all its employees.
The company remains firmly committed in integrating responsible practices into all its activities while positively contributing to society and the environment.
"We are acutely aware of our responsibility towards the well-being of our employees, our impact on the environment, and the security of our data. These values guide each of our actions, and we are committed to continuing to work towards a solid and sustainable CSR." Cecilia Bossel, Deputy General Manager, overseeing CSR initiatives.
